# Introduction

Basic information you should know about Bi-Direct before you start using it.

Bi-Direct is a middleware that power bi-directional integration between two separate systems supporting REST, SOAP, or GraphQL communication with compatibility between them

It's built on nodejs and can be used as an API. It supports such conversions:
